Carol Bruder
”I am moved more by color and the movement of color and light in a painting, than by anything else. My paintings are realistic and impressionistic with lots of color.“
Carol Bruder works mainly in oils, and some acrylics, and does black-and-white ink drawings. Her favorite composition is landscape, but paints portraits and still life occasionally.
Carol currently paints on her own and with teachers, Howard Rose and Don Huber. She has taken classes at Pratt University, The Art Students League, the National Art League, and many adult education classes in the past. Carol has done commissions and judged high school and senior citizen shows. Her work is in private collections in the USA and Europe.
Carol is the past president of two art leagues and is still on the board of the Art League of Nassau County.
