About the Instructor
Bill Graf is a professional fine artist and instructor of Watercolor, Oil, and Acrylic painting. His teaching philosophy centers on the belief that every student can succeed and excel at painting when given proper tools and instruction. Through demonstrations, Bill explains his techniques across all mediums, allowing both beginners and advanced students to learn from his approach and incorporate his tips into their work.

His career as a fine artist and illustrator began after completing his studies at the Art Students League of NYC, followed by Old Masters Painting and Drawing training at the Cecil Graves Studio in Florence, Italy. His achievements include awards from the International Miniature Portrait Show of Montreal, First Prize in Figure Drawing at the NYC Art Students League, and honors from the Huntington NY Arts Council and Nassau County Art Leagues. He is also a recipient of the Frank J. Reilly Scholarship Award. Notably, his commissioned mural depicting an American history scene is displayed in the White House, Washington DC.
